The NetNumber Service Provider Interconnect Data Exchange Resource (SPIDER) server is a highly efficient interconnect data distribution platform developed by NetNumber that service-providers use to deliver private interconnect registry services. The SPIDER platform provides for the efficient and automated exchange of VoIP interconnect addressing data between trusted interconnect partners on a global basis.The SPIDER platform works in coordination with the NetNumber Transactional IP Telephony Addressing & Numbering (TITAN) addressing/routing engine and the NetNumber Number Portability Gateway (NPG) platform, to deliver a complete policy-driven next-generation routing solution for carriers and operators of all sizes. SPIDER’s role within the NetNumber solution architecture is to answer the question:

“Given a dialed number, who are the trusted direct-interconnect partners, routing-intermediaries and/or VoIP-federations that I can use to establish a call/session with the dialed number?”
