Next-Generation Addressing

NetNumber provides a complete set of next-generation addressing technology tools to mobile operators, fixed-line carriers, IP-based service providers and equipment vendors on a global basis. The core components of NetNumber’s addressing solutions include:

TITAN Server: The NetNumber Transactional IP-Telephony Addressing and Numbering platform provides fixed-line carriers, mobile operators, ITSPs and Interconnect carriers with a highly-scalable infrastructure for the delivery of portability-corrected address resolution services across any number of existing SS7/C7 and emerging IP applications.

LSMS Server: NetNumber’s low-cost, high-performance Local Service Management System (LSMS) provides a secure, highly scalable interface between the regional Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) Service Management Systems (SMS) and a telecommunication provider’s TITAN addressing servers.

ENUM Client SDK: The NetNumber ENUM Client Software Development Kit (SDK) is a standards compliant (RFC 3761) ENUM development tool-set that enables ENUM resolution and update capabilities to be rapidly integrated into a variety of IP communications applications and platforms. Binary distribution available in C/C++ and Java development environments. For more information, contact NetNumber’s business development team to request a copy of our ENUM Client SDK” overview document.

Hosted TITAN Infrastructure: NetNumber offers a hosted TITAN infrastructure for use by service providers who want to access TITAN address resolution and number-portability services on an outsourced basis.

Data Services: NetNumber provides two real-time data services to service providers operating in the North American market.
  • Routing Number (LRN): Database containing a portability-corrected location routing number for every ported or pooled number in the US market. The format of the routing-number record is a 10-digit number in the form NPA-NXX-0000. The authoritative data source for the NetNumber LRN database is the North American NPAC. Service providers can access the NetNumber Routing Number database via the DNS, SIP, ss7/C7 or SIGTAN interfaces supported on the TITAN server

  • SPID: Portability-corrected Service Provider ID (SPID) database covering all block, pooled and ported-numbers within the US market. In the North American market the SPID is also referred to as an Operating Company Number (OCN). SPID data for the US market is obtained from official industry sources including the Local Exchange Routing Guide (LERG) and the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) as well as via direct input from mobile operators and fixed-line carriers
