Brad Boston

Brad is Senior Vice President and CIO of Cisco Systems, Inc. Brad joined Cisco in August 2001 and is responsible for the company's worldwide use of information technology.

Previously, Mr. Boston was the Executive Vice President of Operations at Corio, an enterprise-focused Internet ASP. At Corio he was instrumental in redefining their product offering and business model.

Prior to joining Corio, Mr. Boston was Executive Vice President of product development and delivery at the Sabre Group (NYSE: TSG) in Dallas, Texas. Brad was brought to Sabre to strengthen the executive team in preparation for their spin-out from American Airlines (AMR), the historic transaction that created a leading IT firm valued at more than their former parent company. In addition, he managed the early development, operations and support of Travelocity.com, led the largest system conversion in the airline industry when USAirways converted to Sabre, and architected the development and implementation of the first phases of a technology plan to modernize the Sabre system infrastructure and applications.

He has also held executive positions at American Express, Visa, United Airlines/Covia and at American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, where he began his career.

Mr. Boston is a recognized team builder and leader and is known for his business acumen. Throughout his career he has had a tremendous track record of technological innovation and a proven ability to adapt to diverse corporate cultures. He has successfully managed organizations in companies both large and small across multiple industries that are well known for harnessing technology for enhanced services, productivity gains and competitive advantage.

Brad holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Illinois, College of Engineering, Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.

Brad is a member of the BMC Software Board of Advisors, Compaq Board of Advisors, Harvard Group Board of Advisors, and the E-business Advisory Board for Texas Christian University M.J. Neeley School of Business.
